Barnaby Dawe is the Chief Marketing Officer for HarperCollins Publishers after leaving his post as marketing director for The Sun and The News of the World in February 2012. He is the former Vice President for marketing and communications at Turner Entertainment Networks.〔(Communicate Magazine ), Profile: Barnaby Dawe, April 2009〕 Having attended Westminster School, Dawe then studied French and Russian at Bristol University. In 1997 he joined Channel 4. Initially joining the PR department he went on to join the marketing team that launched Sex and the City. He went on to become marketing director for Sky and subsequently Heart FM, before joining Turner Entertainment Networks in 2008.
